Whilst it has been a long time since I have blogged it might be nice to know that some things haven't changed.
Yes ladies and gents, I am writing this blog, listening to music and in preparation for an upcoming show.
The upcoming show is part of the Brunswick St Gallery's annual "Click Show" giving photographers from all walks of life the opportunity to showcase their work.
And since it has been a while, well why not be part of this and showcase some images that are very dear to me. Plus better seen then hidden in the hard drive of my computer right?
So, four photographic works from my travels in India will be exhibited.
To think the last time I showed all B&W photographs was when I presented my "Mungo" photographs.
Now that was a long time a go.
Maybe there is also an irony to it as well, as Mungo symbolized the resurgence within my photographic work.
Maybe this body of work will see just that since my last show was in March 2013.
To be continued...

The 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Festival
Ladies & Gents- it is with great pleasure & excitement that I write to say that I will be the official photographer for the 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Festival.
I am very excited about being able to photograph live performances once again as it has been a while but I am most excited to help, support & be part of this wonderful event.
This was only further confirmed Mon 22 April at Ormond Hall when the 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Launch was held. The announcement of the acts as well as the locations of some of these performances is proof that Melbourne is indeed embracing all that is cabaret, which if you ask me is about time.
With 150 performers & performances from both local & international, Melbourne will be in for a treat come 26th June till 7th July.
To view for yourself some of the acts, I highly suggest you visit the Melbourne Cabaret Festival: http://melbournecabaret.com/
You can also see some photographs that I have taken from the launch : http://melbournecabaret.com/index.php/photo-gallery/2013-launch-party
Hope to see you there-A

Thoughts: 2010
'When I woke up the other day,
I saw a reflection of someone who looked just like me.
However I couldn't really recognize the face staring back at me.
Not anymore. Not anymore.
Then I started to wonder-How long had I been gone?
Could I ever return to before?'

Sunday Moves & Grooves
Fantasy number 1012...I don't know, but have I ever shared how i'd love to be a music DJ? Yes? No? Well yes my friends, I do. So to appease this fantasy, I share with you a catchy little tune I can't stop having a little dance too & when I say dance, what I mean is a shake of the head along with weird shoulder movements and some tapping of the feet.
Anyway enjoy this Sunday nigh tune by Coconut Records called "It's not you, it's me"...
As for photography news...well stay tuned as some exciting news is on its way
"Hey na na na na na nah...."

Hi & to some exciting news...
Hi There-
It's been a while. But then, it's always a little while with me right? Anyway, it's been a very interesting few months.
I've been working on my photographs taken from my time in Kolkata, India and i've been in many ways reliving my time there. It's also been a slow digest for me, probably because every sense was in overdrive that it's taken some time to just gather all that I saw, experienced and felt.
Anyway it's been a really amazing time to for me to work on these images and I can't wait to show them at exhibition.
Saying that though, I do have some great news and that is one of my images was selected for exhibition at the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery Emerging Artists Exhibition.
I will be 1 of 50 other artists and I cannot wait to see the work of the others as well as mine sitting on the walls amongst many.
It seems almost fitting.
Anyway I wanted to touch base and make this announcement.
The exhibition will run from 27th March till July, so there will be plenty of time to visit "On the way to Terity Bazar -5"
