Constructure

Constructure, a truly fun & surprising series to have created. It was probably a series I was working on subconsciously for years before its official conception. Then one night in 2010 I started to look over my past and present work. This is where I noticed this collection and obvious fascination towards structures. "What was or is this all about?" I started to think and analyze. Then it all dawned on me that this attraction was more metaphoric. Structures & buildings all represented a completion to a thought and process. Structures and buildings had a purpose and meaning. They represented elements that I was seeking for in myself as a person and artist (because sometimes the artist isn't a person you see). It therefore becomes something quite special when I applied those attributes and intentions to this body of work as it was this series that led to more exhibitions and experiences any emerging artist could hope for,  the chance to showcase work I created.
