Day 58 "Let's talk about text"

Have you ever read a book where you just don't want it to end? Have you ever read a book where the book becomes your friend? Please say yes!
I recently had this experience when reading Patti Smiths "Just Kids". What an amazing read, end of quote. Lucky I am not a book reviewer. Just imagine....

"This book was great"
"Wow"
"I liked this book just because"

Yup just letting you all know that i'm not quite the skilled book reviewer, but to convey how awesome this book is, here is a little bit about it:

With a bit of luck and a lot of determination, a teenage Patti Smith buys a bus ticket to NYC to try her luck as an artist. On this journey, she meets a mysterious, handsome and fascinating man named Robert Mapplethorpe, who will become her saviour, friend and partner. Together, they would inspire and guide each other to become the incredible artists they became and are.

I don't know if you need to necessarily be a fan of Patti Smith's or Robert Mapplethorpe to respect this story. The story is simply gorgeous, evocative and inspiring and if you can't accept, understand or be a fan of those components then you more than ever need to read this, because you soon will.
