Day 107, 108, 109 & 110 " Polar Opposites"

I love the fact in Europe & the rest of the Northern hemisphere that it is cold and snowing. I can imagine, log fires, mulled wine, warm roasts, and snowman building followed by a snowball fight and snow angels involving the whole family. Lovely thoughts.

But when you grow up in Australia or in the Southern Hemisphere, well it's quite the polar opposite. It's summer breezes and blue skies. It's backyard cricket and a jump on the trampoline or a splash in the pool if you're lucky to have one. It's about being outside, and soaking up the sun. Wonderful thoughts for me too.

But what I love especially about Christmas time here is the Christmas lights and front lawn decorations. I love the effort that some people go through. Climbing on roofs to hang up a Santa or a reindeer or 3. I love it even though I wouldn't do it, but how nice of these people that do...tbc
