Note to Self

Do you remember the days when a notebook was literally a book with pages that one would write in with a pen?
Well I am still quite fond of this ancient method of putting pen to paper.
I think it's quite a beautiful thing.

Well as a user of notebooks, I tend to write about lots of things. In the photograph below is a quote from an article by one of my favourite songwriters-E from the Eels.

I wrote this because I need to remind myself that all I need is to be open to my imagination. Maybe this quote also validates certain ideas I have, plus it is articulated better, yep!

My 1 year project is nearly at its end. I cannot believe the amount of photographs I have taken. I cannot believe all that I have seen and experienced. But these thoughts shall be revealed at the end.

In other news, I have been working and will be exhibiting in late September. There are other exhibitions being planned for later this year and next year, but I shouldn't say to much until all is confirmed.

But please feel free to be excited for me. I am to tired to be plus I got to, keep focused and work, work, work. Well here is to trying right?!

(NB: got to love the "chocolate" droppings, also even if this is about writing, i like to think this can be applied to general creating)
