I'd love let you all know that 2 fantastic festivals are happening in Melbourne that you MUST check out. I've been lucky enough to photograph at these 2 festivals in the past and really look forward to attending as a patron!

This is what I think of when I think about Cabaret. I also think of Neville Sice & David Read, the Melbourne Cabaret Festival Organizers, who with their supporters curate and produce this annual festival. Aimed at showcasing the emerging and established Cabaret talent, they also provide a platform for artists to gain new fans and to allow the artist to do what they love. I also believe it's about injecting Melbourne with a dose of warmth, life and very creative entertainment. Thank you N & D. The Australian Tap Dance Festival.
Organized and produced by Winston Morrison & Ella Lehaf, this fantastic festival showcases amazing tappers who have flown in from overseas and interstate to teach and showcase their skills. There is also our own amazing local talent out in force too. Having seen many of these tappers tap, it's a joy to watch and be mesmerized by all these performers.

So to end off just remember when you see one of the shows at one or both of the festivals that

Now I must continue writing my "artist statement" for some images i've been working on, after all, I want to see some shows too.
The Melbourne Cabaret Festival is on from the 12th -21st July
and
The Australian Tap Dance Festival is on NOW till the 15th July
