Excited. Exhausted. Experimental. Experience. All words associated with how I feel and where I am at. This probably doesn't make sense, but in this tired brain of mine, it does.
This time last week, I had experienced and encountered my first foray into an Art Fair experience. It was amazing and overwhelming. I met some amazing artists and some interesting people.
The response to "Constructure" was amazing and overwhelming and I am very proud of the work I produced.
I was surprised that there were not many other photographers showing, but I hope that in some way my work has encouraged both photographers and viewers that PHOTOGRAPHY CAN BE FINE ART.
The options for photographers is endless and it is a wonderful and accessible medium. But there are many techniques that need applying, there is a lot of thought and consideration required and it is also mathematical.
Anyway I don't know if I am trying to make a point or if I am just babbling on. Did I say I am exhausted?
Whilst at the Art Fair, I realized I have been part of 6 exhibitions is the past year all representing different themes. Well I was impressed.
So as I think about the Art Fair, I will now venture out of my home town to escape the city and gain new material. I will still be working on my Glimpses of Beauty project but will also be working on my "Conversations with Myself".
Photographs may not be up for show till after July, but I will try and check in now and again.
