Silence is Golden

Hi all. Yes I know this is a blog detailing the accounts of my photography, but whilst silence is golden, so too is patience.

At the moment I am not based in my hometown. I am away and loving it. I spend most of the day in silence, and then in the eve, I indulge in some music. I have been listening a lot too Neil Young's Harvest Moon.

So am I photographing? Yes I am. It is amazing. Even though I have been away for only a few days, it feels much longer and I feel like I am learning to be less wasteful with the photographs I am taking. Actually, I am learning to be less wasteful in general. I like this being silent all day. Makes you think. I am not sure I am meant too, but I do and it helps me process stuff.

But I feel like my photography is taking a new direction. I can't explain what, but I feel it. Well i'm going to sign off.

Oh and since I cannot post you pix here is a mental image, did i also mention how much fun imagination is too?

A lone figure sits by the fireplace.
Hands stretched out.
Eyes shut.
Listening to the fire crackle.
Listening to Neil Young's Heart of Gold.
